Busy with yet more edits this week. After finishing and submitting my revisions, I'm now using "track changes" in Word to go over the final touches made by my editor (who is amazing and brilliant) and answering any remaining questions she has. I have to say, I like this system. Yes, it means sitting in front of the computer while I go through the entire manuscript, but I can easily scroll through looking for her corrections and comments and in the end we'll be able to send a clean copy along to the next stage in the process, which is the line edit. This should really cut down on all those little typos and things that so often slip by and sometimes end up in the finished product. Nothing worse than finding typo in your book - or having a reader point out a typo in your book. It also cuts down on paper and hence, saves a tree! I'm all for that.

Does he look a bit grumpy to you?
Question: if you're a writer, do you prefer paper or electronic edits? If you're a reader, do you prefer print or e-books?
Not having a Kindle or Sony ereader either, I prefer print books. But I do love the idea of a handheld ereader - it's so Star Trek! One of these days...
